Features and benefits - This keyboard layout complies with the Canadian Standard Association NoZ243.200-92 designed to integrate the English and French characters throughout Canada in an unique layout. - This standard relates to the alphanumeric section of the keyboard. It determines the position of different keys in order to generate the characters of Alphabet latin No1. This alphabet has two groups of characters, the first one is segmented into three levels and the second one completes the set of 190 characters. This alphabet is a subset of the international standard ISO 6937. Therefore, the Z243.200-92 complies with the International standard organization. - Claviste driver gives acces to all of the diacritic signs of the french language on the lower and uppercase letters. It provides also an easy way to generate different arithmetic, commercial and typographic symbols as well as other characters of about 14 latin languages used in more than 40 countries. - It is compatible with the sofwares running under MS-DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and 98, Windows NT 3.51 and NT 4.0, Windows 2000. - Euro symbol (Windows update available) - Claviste is supplied with a 102 key keyboard with the 190 chaacters of Alphabet latin No1 engraved on the keycaps. The characters are in black, red and blue colors according to the group they belong. The function keys are represented by ISO 9995-7 pictograms to eliminate the necessity of supplying separately a french and an english keyboard. High performance stickers are also available for existing 101 or 102 keyboards. - Additionnal modules:
- Claviste is used by federal and provincial governments as well as by private companies. It has been selected and distributed by well known computer manufacturers such as IBM and Toshiba.
